I'm loving Sail Away's seasonals! The taste of maple shines, so if you want a strong flavored coffee without the sugary sweetness this is it. I typically don't go for flavored drinks (cream and sugar for me), but I gave this a try and will continue to insta-buy this seasonal every year. This nitro packs the flavor, but doesn't taste overly sweet like some flavored coffees. It's truly still has a bold, black coffee taste. Also, if you're concerned about shipping have no fear. These always make the journey intact and even partially smashed cans open fine.

Earlier this year on a whim I ordered the variety pack of Sail Away Nitro brews and I was not disappointed. They balance a nice boldness of the roast with a smoothness of cold brewing and the creaminess of nitro, and the flavors I tried, Salted Caramel and Horchata, were a hit!
When fall came I wanted to see what seasonal flavors they had, (and to buy another round of Horchata). I was expecting Pumpkin Spice. Who doesn't? I like Pumpkin Spice. Some folk don't.
What Sail Away had instead of Pumpkin Spice was Maple Vanilla. And so I didn't buy it.
Time went on and I kept popping back over to their site to see what was up. They offer donuts but I'm on the other side of the country. But one day I check and they're having a holiday sale. It was way too good to pass up so I load my cart with a little of everything. Within days my order arrives and I try the Maple Vanilla. Dang. That's a good can of coffee right there! I missed out for weeks because I wanted Pumpkin Spice and this new option, this Maple Vanilla was unfamiliar. They're like "imagine eating pancakes and chasing it with coffee" and that didn't convince me. Then I drink it and it's like, it tastes better than that. The maple is more mapley, not like some artificial maple product made from corn syrup and vegetable oil, it has more of a 'sap' to it.It's flavorful without being overly sweet. And it's 35 calories a can. Anything sweater and you're either upping the calories or risking artificial tastes. I'm looking at the can now and seeing that it's organic, vegan, dairy free, gluten free. There's like 6 ingredients in the can. Then done did right. Maybe get yourself some next year if they have it again.

I love all of the Nitro cold brew flavors and was shocked at how quickly this became a favorite for me! The maple flavor is subtle but definitely noticeable and smooth, and it's not too sweet.
